Our University Organized a Seminar on "Artificial Intelligence-Based Curriculum Design" with Indonesian State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga

Our University, which successfully continues its international collaborations with project-based studies, organized a seminar on "Artificial Intelligence-Based Curriculum Design" together with Indonesian State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, Indonesian State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Rector Prof. Dr. Al Makin, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. H. Iswandi Syahputra, Our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Başalan and Prof. Dr. Erol Yılmaz, Our Secretary General Assist. Prof. Dr. Şevket Evci, Head of International Office Assist.Prof. Zeynep Başer, Vice Deans of Indonesian State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga, our deans, graduate school and vocational school directors and faculty members attended the opening of the seminar.

The seminar started with the opening meeting, opening speeches and the introduction of our University.

Indonesian State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Rector Prof. Dr. Al Makin stated that “Indonesia and Türkiye are two countries that are very close to each other in cultural and historical terms. We would be happy to work internationally with you, we are happy to be here and we would like to host you in Indonesia. We would also like to hold such a conference in Indonesia. Thank you all."

The program continued with Head of International Office Assist.Prof. Zeynep Başer’s presentation about our University. Assist. Prof Zeynep Başer gave information to our guests about the history of our University, our academic units, technical and physical facilities, departments and programs, our students and staff, and our international collaborations.

Faculty members of our university made presentations within the framework of the theme of artificial intelligence. The presentations are as follows:

“Artificial Intelligence: Past, Present and Future” by Assoc. Prof. Serkan Savaş, “Education and Application Areas with Artificial Intelligence” by Assist.Prof. Fuat Türk, “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics” by Assist.Prof. Enes Ayan, “Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Practice” by Dr. Serhat Altıok and Prof. Dr. Erman Yükseltürk, “Ethical Problems and Solutions” by Assist.Prof. Rıdvan Kağan Ağca, "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Production and Service Sectors" by Assoc. Dr. Adnan Aktepe.

After the presentations, the speakers answered the questions of the audience and the seminar ended with the delegations giving tokens of appreciation to each other.
