Kırıkkale University Continues to Strengthen International Cooperations with Renewed Protocols

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, Mecit Çetinkaya, the Chairman of Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam, Assist. Prof. Şevket Evci, Secretary General, Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Başer, Head of International Office, visited Blida 2 Ali Louicini University.

The bilateral cooperation agreement signed in 2019 was renewed. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan gave certificates to Blida 2 University students who successfully completed our Online Turkish Language Education Program at Kırıkkale University in 2023-2024 Academic Year and gave a conference on the History of Science in Islam.

Prof. Dr. Adel Mezough, Rector of Blida 2 University, introduced the faculties before the visit. After the introduction, Prof. Dr. Adel Mezough gave bouquets of roses unique to Blida, also known as the "City of Roses" and Qur’an and memory journals to Mecit Çetinkaya and Assist. Prof. Dr. Şevket Evci. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan presented a tile painting featuring the Çeşnigir Bridge, one of the symbols of Kırıkkale, as a gift to Prof. Dr. Adel Mezough.

The program continued with the Conference on the History of Science in Islam after Qur’an recitation and national anthems. Assoc. Dr. Safa Ouled Haddar, Vice Rector for International Relations, talked about the ongoing cooperation efforts between two universities. Assoc. Dr. Safa Ouled Haddar gave information about the Turkish education programs and said that they would accelerate the process to establish a Turkish Education Department at Blida 2 University. Assoc. Dr. Safa Ouled Haddar expressed their satisfaction for the joint Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education Project conducted.

Prof. Dr. Adel Mezough expressed that he believed that the relations between two universities would continue successfully in the new term and thanked Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan and his accompanying delegation for their visit.

Mecit Çetinkaya, the Chairman of Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam thank the Rector of Blida 2 University and their delegation for their hospitality and explained mention about the works of foundation. After the speeches, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan delivered a speech on the History of Science in Islam. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan gave a book titled "Istanbul Museum of History of Science and Technology in Islam" to a student who answered his questions at the conference.

Following the conference, the bilateral cooperation agreement between two universities was renewed. The program continued with the certificate ceremony to the students, who completed Online Turkish Education Program at A1 and A2 level after the signing ceremony.

In the face-to-face education program at our university, 2 Algerian students succeeded in completing their Turkish language education at C1 level. Students have continued the online Turkish education program with great interest to learn Turkish at B1-B2 level.

The program ended after the visit the Intensive Language Education Center, Incubation Center and Library at Blida 2 University.
