Times Higher Education (THE) World University
Rankings 2026 has
been announced. This year, 2191 universities from 115 countries and territories
succeeded in being included in the rankings. Our university entered the list
for the first time in 2023 and again demonstrated its success this year and
continued to rise in sub-categories. Kırıkkale University ranked 41st at the
national level among 109 universities from Türkiye.
THE World
University Rankings are
based on evaluations conducted under five categories, each representing a key
area of excellence in higher education: Teaching, Research Environment,
Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. Our
university’s highest global position was achieved in the Research
Environment category, where it ranked 943rd worldwide in THE University
Rankings 2026.
Our
Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan emphasized that this achievement
is the result of the consistent and dedicated efforts of our university’s
academic and administrative staff toward common goals. Expressing his gratitude
to all university staff, the Rector stated that this success marks only the
beginning and that efforts will continue with the same determination to achieve
even higher ranks in the future. Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan also added that our university will play an increasingly active role in
research, development, and education in the production of medium- and
high-technology products that will play a critical role in shaping Türkiye’s
future.
