Farabi Exchange Program
Farabi Exchange Program is a student exchange program among higher education institutions in Turkey, which has been started by 2009-2010 academic year.
The Program is focused on associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree students and aims to enable students to attend in a partner education institution for a period of one semester or full academic year.
The students, attending the Farabi Exchange Program, fulfill their financial obligations in accordance with the rules of their own universities.
The students continue to register in their own higher education institutions and pay their tuition fees to their home universities, not to the hosting institutions.
How to Apply?
The preparatory class students of any departments and first-year students of full year semester faculties (Fac. of Law, Fac. of Medicine and Fac. of Dentistry) can not apply to benefit from the Farabi Exchange Program. Master and doctorate degree students also can not apply to benefit from the Program during their preparatory classes, scientific preparatory years and their first semesters of the degree.
All other students may apply if there is a Farabi Agreement between Kirikkale University and a partner university related to their department.
The Credits
The students' course loads, based on the credits determined within the framework ECTS credit system, can not be less than the course loads in the same semester at the higher education institutions in which they are registered.
The accepted students prepare their Learning Agreement documents before the start of the mobility and the documents are approved by both home and hosting institutions.
Application Time
The applications are collected by the Farabi Institutional Coordinatorship (International Office) between the dates announced; generally in March.
