Kırıkkale University was ranked in the 1501+ band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 include 1799 universities across 104 countries and regions, making them the largest and most diverse university rankings to date. A further 526 universities were listed with “reporter” status, meaning that they provided data but did not meet the eligibility criteria to receive a rank, and agreed to be displayed as a reporter.
Data were collected from more than 2500 universities this year, and over 121 million citations across more than 15.5 million research publications were analyzed. In addition, survey responses from 40,000 scholars were analyzed globally.
The World University Rankings are based on assessments under 5 areas each representing an important area of excellence in higher education: Teaching, Research, Citations, Industry Income and International Outlook. The highest ranking of our University was under Research where it was ranked 856th, followed by Teaching, where it was ranked 1428th, and in Citations, where it was ranked 1523th.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan has said that this success is the result of the goal-oriented work of all our academic and administrative staff and that we will continue to work to rank higher in the coming period. He has also added that Kırıkkale University will put more effort into R&D and education for medium and high technology products of the Great Turkey of the Near Future.
