Administrative Staff of Mostaganem University in Algeria Visited Kırıkkale University within Internship Program

Within the scope of bilateral cooperation agreements, six administrative staff from Abdelhamid Ben Badis Mostaganem University in Algeria carried out an internship at Kırıkkale University between 20-23 May 2025.

The delegation included Laila Aoudja, Library Director, Quassila Bouchareb and Fatima Limam, Librarians, Kheira Djidal, Social Security Specialist and Student Affairs Officer, Djamila Snoussi, Intensive Language Learning Center Administrative Staff, Nassima Kaddar, Laboratory Engineer. Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Başer, Head of International Office, gave information about Kırıkkale University and internationalization of Kırıkkale University.

The delegation visited the School of Foreign Languages, Turkish Language Teaching Center (TÖMER), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Central Library, Scientific and Technological Research Application and Research Center (KÜBTUAM), and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

A meeting was held with Lec. Ahmet Kurnaz, Lec. Faruk Tavşancıoğlu and Lec. İsmail Selim at the School of Foreign Languages. During the meeting, course contents, teaching methods and languages ​​taught were discussed. Later, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Kuşdemir, Director of TÖMER, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Özdarıcı, Vice Director, TÖMER staff, explained the linguistic and cultural difficulties faced by foreign students.

Prof. Dr. Abdussamed Yeşildağ, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, gave information on administrative processes, student registration systems and online university software.

Mine Keskin, Head of Central Library Department, H. Zeynep Semerci, librarian, gave information about book classification, numbering and digitization processes. Later, the delegation visited KÜBTUAM. Prof. Dr. Siyami Karahan, Director of KÜBTUAM, and staff explained the infrastructure of scientific research center.

The delegation attended the Professional English course given by Prof. Dr. Hacı Bayram Işık at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dikkaya, Head of Economics Department, spoke about higher education systems and cooperation opportunities.

At the end of the visit, International Office gave gifts to the delegation. Mostaganem University delegation stated that they were extremely pleased with the visit. This visit has strengthened the academic and administrative cooperation between Kırıkkale University and Mostaganem University.
