Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan Visits Kırıkkale University

The Ambassador of Sudan, Nadir Yousif Eltayeb Babiker, and the First Secretary of the Embassy, Mai Ejami, visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, in his office. Expressing his appreciation to Ambassador Nadir Yousif Eltayeb Babiker for his kind visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan stated that we always keep our historical and cultural ties with Sudan, which has an important place in our hearts. He expressed his willingness to strengthen these ties academically, socially, and economically, and to carry them into the future. Our Rector stated that we are ready to work together with universities and institutions in Sudan in academic, social, and economic fields, just as we have achieved positive results in international cooperation studies with other universities in different parts of the world. He said, "We will produce projects together with the principle of working together, designing together, producing together, and winning together in the end."

During the visit, collaboration projects that could be carried out between Kırıkkale University and universities in Sudan were discussed. These include academic staff and student mobility, defense industry, agriculture, medicine, and engineering studies, as well as online Arabic-Turkish language education. A presentation was made by Dr. Zeynep Başer on our university's history, academic units, technical and physical facilities, departments and programs, and international collaborations.

Expressing his pleasure to visit our university, Sudanese Ambassador Nadir Yousif Eltayeb Babiker thanked our Rector for his sincere feelings and thoughts on the importance of Sudan-Türkiye relations.
