Online MoU Signing Ceremony with Universitas Negeri Jakarta
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between
Kırıkkale University and Universitas Negeri Jakarta, one of the leading state
universities in Indonesia. The online signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rectors of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Totok Bintoro, Prof. Dr.
Suyono, Prof. Dr. Agus Dudung, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Sukur, as well as the Dean
of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Ari Saptono, Vice Deans, and the Consul
of Social and Cultural Affairs of the Indonesian Istanbul Consulate, Elizabeth
Diana Dewi. From our university, our Vice-Rectors, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Başalan and
Prof. Dr. Erol Yılmaz, Secretary General, Dr. Şevket Evci, the Head of the
Department of Economics, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dikkaya, the Head of International
Relations, Dr. Zeynep Başer, and the Third Secretary of the Jakarta Embassy,
Muhammed Kılınç took part in the ceremony.
The ceremony, which began with the singing of the
national anthems of both countries, continued with the Consul of Social and
Cultural Affairs of the Indonesian Istanbul Consulate, Elizabeth Diana Dewi,
and the Third Secretary of the Turkish Jakarta Embassy, Muhammed Kılınç,
emphasizing the importance of this cooperation in education between the two
countries. Then, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Suyono from Universitas Negeri Jakarta
and our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Başalan spoke about their respective
universities and discussed possible collaborations, such as joint publications
and projects, student and staff mobility, and organizing joint symposiums.
The ceremony concluded with the signing of the agreement by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Totok Bintoro from Universitas Negeri Jakarta and our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Başalan, followed by a photo session. After the signing ceremony, the International Seminar Series Economics Expo 2023 was held at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The seminar started with an introductory speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ari Saptono, and continued with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dikkaya’s speech entitled "Economic and Political Transformation in Post-Soviet Muslim States: After Three Decades" by. The seminar ended with the participants asking questions.
