Online Turkish Language Education Program Launched with the Second Group of Blida 2 University, Algeria

Dr. Fatih Arslan, Res. Assist. Adnan Simsek participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Online Turkish Language Education Program with the Second Group of Blida 2 University, Algeria.

Dr. Sarah Kouider Rabah, Vice Rector of External Relations and Cooperation of Blida 2 University, Prof. Dr. Bouhacein Nacer Eddine, Vice-Rector of Research, and students who will participate in the Online Turkish Language Education Program attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony was launched with the National Anthem of Algeria and the National Anthem of the Republic of Türkiye, Assoc. Dr. Yasemin Kuşdemir, Director of TÖMER gave her speech and informed the participants about the program. Kuşdemir said that 14 students studying at Blida 2 University at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels would be given Turkish language classes at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels by Assoc. Dr. Öznur Özdarıcı and Res. Assist. Adnan Şimşek and this program was aimed to be completed in December 2023. She expressed her gratitude to Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan for his support, saying she thought that this program would not only strengthen the ties between Kırıkkale University and Blida 2 University on a cultural and scientific level but would also have a positive impact on those between two countries.

Later, Prof. Dr. Sarah Kouider Rabah, Vice Rector of External Relations and Cooperation at Blida 2 University gave her speech. In addition to expressing satisfaction with the collaboration between Kırıkkale University and Blida 2 University, Kouider Rabah emphasized the significance of the Online Turkish Language Education Program for sustaining this collaboration. She expressed her gratitude for this program to Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan and the TÖMER team.

Finally, Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, delivered a speech. He stated that protocols were important, but they must be fruitful, and that this training was one of the outcomes. He stated that the first Online Turkish Language Education Program began with 15 students, 13 of whom completed the B2 level, and two of whom came to Türkiye and completed the C1 level at our university. He expressed his appreciation for the Turkish poems and prose read by the students who completed the program at the end of the semester and expressed his hope for similar activities from the new group. He stated that he was pleased with the activities carried out so far as the Rector of Kırıkkale University, but that it was necessary to consider how to continue to contribute to the academic studies of participants who completed the program. He also mentioned that a 1 + 1 joint master's program with Blida 2 University is possible, furthermore, students at the master's and doctoral levels could study with a co-advisor from Kırıkkale University, and projects could be carried out with students during their studies. He thanked Prof. Dr. Khaled Ramoul, Former Rector of Blida 2 University and Ramoul's team, especially Prof. Dr. Sarah Kouider Rabah, for their contributions to this bilateral cooperation and congratulated New Rector Prof. Dr. Adel Mezough for his appointment. He ended his speech by wishing the students who will participate in the program success.
