Kırıkkale University Signed a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with International Kyrgyzstan University

Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Kilitbekov, Vice Rector of Kyrgyz International University and his wife Nazire Kilitbekov visited our University.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Başalan and Prof. Dr. Erol Yılmaz, Vice Rectors of Kırıkkale University, Assist. Prof. Şevket Evci, Secretary General, Assist. Prof. Zeynep Başer, Head of International Office, Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Akılbekov, Vice Rector of International Kyrgyzstan University and his daughter Akilia, who got Türkiye Scholarship to study at our university in the Department of International Relations participated the meeting.

Our student Akilia Kilitbekov played the Kyrgyz Kopuz and the Iron Mouth Kopuz.  Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Akılbekov gave information about International Kyrgyzstan University and expressed their satisfaction in cooperating with Kırıkkale University. Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan said that they attach importance to bilateral agreements and thanked Prof. Dr. Akılbekov for his visit. During the meeting held in a friendly atmosphere, a cooperation agreement was signed between two universities regarding student and staff exchange, organizing joint symposiums and conducting projects.

Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Akılbekov, Vice Rector of International Kyrgyzstan University gave Kyrgyz caftan, the local costume of Kyrgyzstan, as a gift to our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan presented a tile painting featuring the Çeşnigir Bridge, one of the symbols of Kırıkkale, as a gift to Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Akılbekov.

After the meeting, the Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baatırbek Akılbekov and his family visited TÖMER (Turkish Language Teaching and Research Center) and International Office. The Head and Vice Head of TÖMER gave information about TÖMER and the teaching methods.
