Kırıkkale University Signed New Agreements in Uzbekistan
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, Assist. Prof.
Şevket Evci, Secretary General, Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Başer, Head of
International Office, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Koç, Faculty Member of the
Faculty of Islamic Studies, attended bilateral cooperation meetings in
Uzbekistan and gave a lecture on the History of Science in Islam.
After the lecture, Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan, his delegation, Prof. Dr. Obidion Khamidov, Rector of Bukhara State University and Dr. Juraev Abror Turobovich, Vice Rector for International Relations, attended the bilateral cooperation meeting. During the meeting, they discussed the joint activities such as opening a joint program, student and staff exchange, organizing a joint symposium. The visit ended with a mutual exchange of gifts and a photo shoot.
After the meeting, Efşene village of Bukhara, where Ibn Sina was born, was visited. Boltayev Farkhod Kurbonovich, Director of İbni Sina Efşene Public Health Technical School, gave information about the institution and their activities. A bilateral cooperation agreement was signed, especially within the scope of the vocational school.
Within the Uzbekistan program, Kırıkkale University delegation visited Zarmed University TOMER Language Center and Zarmed Hospital in Samarkand. Dr. Süheyla Kakiz, Director of TOMER Language Center and Turkish Education, gave information about their activities. Dr. Lola Shukurlaeva, Director of Zarmed Hospital, gave information about the hospital. Prof. Dr. Shukurlaev Dilshod Dalerovich, Founder and Rector of Zarmed University, Dr. Dalerov Akbarxon Dilshodovich, Vice Rector, Dr. Nabiyev Alisher, Head of Education Department, Dr. Süheyla Kakiz, Director of TOMER Language Center, welcomed Kırıkkale University delegation at Zarmed University. After the meeting, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed. The visit ended with a mutual exchange of gifts and a photo shoot.
After the meeting, Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in Samarkand was visited. Dr. Ziyodov Shovosil Yunusovich, Director of the Institution, Otabek Muhammadiyev, Vice Director, other officials and researchers joined the meeting. Officials gave information about Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center. Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan gave information about Kırıkkale University and Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam, and gave lecture titled “Our Common Heritage and Future: History of Science”. Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan stated that Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin's doctoral dissertation on the sources of Sahih al-Bukhari constitutes an important work that proves Sahih al-Bukhari’s hadith studies were based on written sources, and he emphasized the great significance of studies conducted on Sahih al-Bukhari. After the meeting, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed.
